Complaints about Malcolm Turnbulls second rate copper NBN have soared in the suburbs where it has finally been switched on.
The Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman revealed yesterday that the top four suburbs in Australia for complaints in the March quarter were Toukley, Newcastle, Warners Bay and Belmont Northall suburbs where Malcolm Turnbull has recently switched on his second rate copper NBN.More Australians contacted the Ombudsman about slow data speeds, unusable internet services and connection problems than about any other issue between January and March this year.
This latest report adds further weight to the situation being experienced on the ground in the Hunter.
Local MPs have been inundated with complaints about the NBN, often by residents who have been without phone and internet service for weeks or sometimes months.
The problems with Malcolm Turnbulls copper NBN have been so bad for Hunter residents that NBN Co has taken the unprecedented step of apologising for all the problems with Malcolm Turnbulls copper NBN.
Malcolm Turnbull has made a mess of the NBN. In the last three years:
the cost of his second rate NBN has doubled
the time it will take to build has doubled, and
Australia has dropped from 30th in the world for internet speeds to 60th
